We must be the only club in world football that can attatct billionaire Americans investment groups that don't have a pot to piss in.

The term

"fur coat and no knickers" could not be more accurate

Weren't you one of the people losing your shit when a Qatari with a net worth of <2 billion put a bid in for Utd a fortnight back?

…likely go down like a fart in a lift to the usual suspects.

Despite Klopp saying our transfers this summer need to be on point, no doubt the comment of transfers will be met with the usual set of hilarious zingers.

Just more waffle. Answered the questions like a true politician, lack of clarity and commitment for whats literally a few months away.

A 7-0 win doesn't change the fact that the team will need major surgery in the summer - it would be nice for that to be truly acknowledged.

The Liverpool owner also admitted the club faces financial challenges to continue competing at the top end of the Premier League and offered his backing to spending limits.

He added: 'The Premier League itself is extraordinarily successful and is the greatest football competition in the world, but we’ve thought for some time there should be limits on spending so that the league doesn’t go the way of European leagues where one or two clubs annually have little competition.

'Excitement depends on competition and is the most important component of the Premier League.'

Might explain why we've been shit for most of this season. Henry obviously wanted to make it more exciting!

And as for the boring prick who posted the article, I don’t know how many times it needs to be said.

But I’d actually rather be owned by FSG than some murderous state unlike him. I’d just like them to actually invest properly in the club, not stupid fucking amounts of money but sensible amounts the club can actually afford.

Any owners who come out with bullshit about dedication to winning or whatever crap they said in the article doesn’t fuck their own manager over with Arthur Melo, Ozan Kabak and Ben Davies.

How the fuck is that an exclusive interview? It's the same thing he said to some Boston newspaper a little while ago. Which was not a lot.

The echo never speak to them directly but seemingly are happy to push the narrative that they are amazing owners who are smarter than everyone else.

It’s dampening expectations.

It’s their MO.

He's shat himself.

He and his fanboys in the press have been pushing the narrative that if we don't get top 4 we aren't spending which was getting bandied about a few weeks back after we lost to Wolves. We appear to be the only club in the Premier League who cannot spend money based on not qualifying for the CL despite earning record revenues and being one of the biggest clubs in the world.

Now we've been on a decent run and there's a possibility that we could get the top 4 he's had to move the goalposts to something else to keep the expectation low about spending anything.

They hate spending any of their own money and clearly can't afford to compete but he just wants to cling on as long as possible and extract as much money as he can from the club whilst putting next to nothing in. Now he's moaning about spending caps because he doesn't want to invest anything.

He would rather have CL and not spend than no CL and not spend.

Like him or not, he's spot on about spending caps. It's obvious nobody has the balls in enforce ffp on the oil states or Chelsea. Something needs done as this isn't sustainable to most clubs.

Fees and wages in football have been unsustainable for many years. It won't change. He's pissing in the wind and he knows it. He should keep his stupid fucking gob shut.

Why? Just because he is pissing into the wind, he and everyone else should continue to push it. Whether he is the correct person or not to do it, is a different matter, but this should be put out there all the time and as often as possible. Then perhaps there will be a little change. Keeping hi stupid gob shut will do nothing, perhaps opening it will do a little and that is better than the nothing we have now.

He doesnt mind paying that chubby fuck, rafel devers nearly half a million a week to get what, 30 odd home runs out of 160 something games a season.

But moans about the price of footballers.

I don't disagree with the prices being crazy, but pull the other one. If he's willing to pay the baseball players huge fees, then he can shut the fuck up and stump up the cash for an actual winning team, in a recognised, worldwide sport.
