I told my mum yesterday that I share the view of many on here that’s she’s nothing but a puppet.

 

My mum thought I meant an actual puppet. Before I could correct her, she agreed. I think she now believes Truss is a reject from Thunderbirds or similar. 
 

I know she knows deep down that Truss isn’t a puppet on strings but she seemed happy with her assessment so I left her to it.

There are elements who must be very happy to see people like Truss, Kwateng, and Rees-Mogg where they are, and who have schooled them in what they should do.

 

Im not sure it’s been a case of deliberate manipulation of the system to get them into power so much as having the right people you’ve groomed in the right place and at the right time.

 

You know things are bad when the RSPB are getting militant.

The FT are not really that right wing. They have some excellent journalists. They used to give out free articles but they've stopped now (for me anyway)
