Lifers are generally given single cells but the downside to that is you spend a lot of time locked up on your own sometimes 23 hours at a time if there are too few officers on duty becuase of sick, annual leave, hospital escorts etc. I can’t imagine waking up this morning and thinking all that’s ahead of me is sitting in this little cell watching day time tv.
