Nat Phillips did alright tonight.  I still wouldn't want to watch him every week, but he wasn't anywhere near as scary as I thought he was going to be when he came on.

Phillips might be limited but he is solid and you know what he doesn't try to be Maldini. Knows what he is good at and has a bit of cop on. He has to always start against Williams, who needs to get the kind of game experience he got in Germany next season.

Special mention to Trent, that goal will be enormous to him, you visibly saw him grow and look like the player of last season, Mane was stupendous, like the player of old perpetual motion delivered 1 and half assists and a goal, Bobby was fantastic, his best performance for over a year. Absolutely loved Mo’s performance tonight, everything was positive and played for the team. Milner and wij fucking boss too.

After weeks of shite and valid criticism, they deserve massive credit tonight...pretty much all of them.

 

Worked hard all over park, grew into game and bossed it and finally found something in front of goal....a really good performance.
