I'm no expert on US politics but it seems to me that Democrats tend to win when they have younger, charismatic candidates and struggle when they put up Republican-lite ones.

It should have been Michelle Obama

White men are the only group who moved away from Trump. Black, Asian, Latino men and women all increased their share of Trumps vote.

I wouldn't be surprised if it is because they feel they have been let down more by the Democrats over the years thant they have Trump. And Biden is a bad sex pest/paedo depending on who you listen to.

The same with the Working Class towns over here who voted for the Tories last December thinking they would be rescued.

This is mental.

Isn't it just a numbers and mobilising anomaly?

He's made gains, but with new voters, so his shares have incresed from a base rate of nothing.

Either way it's fucking mad.

Heard a Cuban American this morning saying he voted Trump as Biden is a commie.

This is what happens when critical thinking is knowingly removed from the education system.

Catching up with UK things.

Depressing as fuck that Trump is still in this.

I actually would have said something similar to Raab. You shouldn’t, as foreign secretary, get involved in slagging off the president of an ally who might well be gone or, worse, you might have to do a deal with over the next years and will fuck your country over. There’s no way that even Raab, the cunt, would support the shit that Trump came out with. He is Foreign Sec. though.

Both Fox and CNN are coming to the conclusion that ballot votes might just swing it for Biden.

So the nightmare scenario is that Trump takes it to the Supreme Court to get their count stopped. A court which he now controls thanks to the recent appointment.

That could make things very ugly indeed.

I don't think that will quite work the way he planned. They're not "his people" in the business/gangster sense of the word, they're conservatives with right wing views on shit like abortion. They're judges and members of the legal profession, you can't just pack it with people from Walmart and Exon the way he has his other posts.

A bit much is made over him ‘controlling’ the court. Judges don’t work like that. In fact, the more conservative you get the more you are likely to protect the law. I can’t see any court stopping counting of votes. Plus, he can’t just ‘go to the Supreme Court’ like he said. The votes will be counted and the result will be the result.

Very true. The problem is he'll stir up the population with talk of fraudulent voting which will cast doubt over the result of the election. If anything will trigger widepsread violence, it will that and him refusing to leave the white house.
