Wonder if much big money did go on Mayweather come tonight. This fight should have been a chance to kill the bookies but as of this morning a crazy amount of money was placed on Mcgregor. It looks like they're laughing their tits off at Joe Public.

Someone told me that something like 90% of bets went on mcgregor, but more money went on Mayweather.

I'm not talking about the buildup to the fight. Dana and Conor were talking smack years prior. The UFC have always had a weird hard-on for Floyd even before this fight was even conceivable.

Only rounds Conor won where those that Mayweather just sat back and did nothing in.Mcgregor was just the more active boxer in the early rounds. Mayweather could have won every round if he wanted by just landing a few shots to the body. But he had a gameplan and it worked perfectly. He just sat back let conor punch himself out and then finished him.

 

Mcgregors mma power didnt transfer to the boxing ring. That was probably Floyds easiest ever fight. Even the midget Hatton wobbled a prime Mayweather. Conor didnt trouble Floyd at all.

 

Mcgregors only chance of victory was an early ko. Was obvious within a minute of the 1st round he stood no chance of getting it.

Just up and having read the synopsis, it seems like it went how we all thought it would. McGregor start strong, then faded as Mayweather found a bit of rythem and picked him to bits.

I watched the first 3 rounds and the stoppage and I'm fully decided, but may well be wrong, that the whole thing was bollcks. That stoppage was shite too. Making sure there was defo no chance of injury to either. Anyone who has helped promote this shite to take money from gullible people wants to have a word with themselves. Mayweather threw 6 jabs and about 15 punches total in first 2. Shite.

As for being devastated, I'm disappointed that McGregor didn't win, but I didn't think he would win as I said multiple times in this thread. I do think he gave a good account of himself and a few gobshites from the boxing fandom have shown themselves up quite badly. I liked McGregor's analysis of the fight, but I'm disappointed that he gassed out so badly.
