Great win, job well done. But I have to say, at the risk of coming off a moany cunt, that it is just like us to put in a performance like this with the pressure completely off. We are only 6 points off fourth now, and we will probably get closer before we fall away again at the final hurdle.

Still, nice to get a win, something to be cheerful about after sunday.

Excellent performance. Lallana was outstanding. Flanagan impressed. Milner and Can put in a great shift and there were tireless runs from Origi and Firmino. Also impressed by the rest of the defenders. We dominated midfield (mostly cause of Citys weird line up and them missing Yaya, but also thanks to some engine). Very good win!

No point thinking about it that way. They could've beaten us tonight and still been on for the title with us languishing in 11th place. We won, we put in a great performance and we're 6 points off City in 4th as you mentioned.

Not being a moany cunt at all mate. It's absolutely typical of this shower to put in a massive performance when it doesn't matter.

Origi and Flanagan should start every game between now and the end of the season.

Yeah, if I'm honest. Maybe I'm just sick to vomiting over seeing Henderson, Lallana, et al. game in and game out and we're in 11th place in the fucking league and still putting out the same shite. We have lost a lot games and I honestly believed Klopp would have done a better job with the available players than he has. That's it.

You must be gutted with that.

It was absolutely predictable we would win the match that has no bearing on the rest of the season and lose the one that matters.

That's what happens when Hedge-fund managers employ statisticians who buy shithouses.

Origi was okay, but if we're basing it on tonight's performance then Lallana should start every single game for us. He was brilliant.

I meant in terms of what it brings to the team. Origi puts a shift in and can run the channels well, leaving space for our myriad number 10s. And Flanagan cause he's boss and so Moreno can't play.
