Sturridge injured again....

Sturridge bought Agger's house when he moved to Bronby. He found a massive stash of beak in the loft and he's been shipped to Boston for rehab. That's 14 pound sixty mate.

If you go to Old Swan, you get the deluxe version where he's also the father of Gerrard's kids.

16 pound twenty mate, and keep it to yourself.

heard a rumour yesterday that its not fully injury related, but also personal "problems"...draw your own conclusions...

Dr Anubis prescribes a course of either using your own car, public transport, or walking. Stay out of taxis of all kinds.

What, so he's on drugs, got a gambling addiction, being hunted by 'the mob'?

I dont see why the club would send him to America for intensive treatment if it wasnt for his fitness.

Ive read people claim its 'utterly bizarre' that he's with the red sox's medical team (maybe) and that the 'club should have sufficient resources' to deal with muscle strains and tears.

All of this flies in the face of common sense and logic. Clubs send players all over the place for treatment and the club is attempting to resolve his issue of so many muscle injuries. And yet they still get criticised doing this! That's bizarre.

Ive no doubt some people repeat stuff they've been told in good faith but, that doesnt mean the original story is in good faith. As with all this tinerweb shite, people will believe what they want. Its up to each individual to determine what they believe or not.

Personally, I dont believe there's anything sinister in sturridge being over the pond.

Heard he snapped his dong string during a particularly vigorous daggering session at Reggae Sting last year. Now every time he runs his foreskin wraps over his foot like a leather sock and he falls over and tears muscles like Jeff Capes with an old Yellow Pages. Same thing happened to his grandfather in Jamaica, they call him skin foot. He used twine and prayer to fix the problem but Daniel's is more complicated. Something to do with the damp climate in UK>

They had to release some story about him going abroad in case he was seen being put on the plane but he's not off to Boston, it's actually an extraordinary rendition.  The plan is to smuggle him to Beirut via Frankfurt and have the CIA spend two weeks waterboarding him and rectally infusing foot long chicken teriyakis with extra peppers in an attempt to terrify him into staying fit for the rest of the season.

So you think the club should have worldbeating medical staff for all eventualities based at Melwood?

Why do clubs send players to the US? Why do they send them to this Dr Steadman for cruciate knee injuries? There are world renown specialists in all fields and they dont all live in the UK.

I think its a little disingenuous to expect the club to have all this expertise at Melwood. But then again, it just seems to be the trend to blame the club for everything and anything these days.

But we aren't sending him to Steadman are we?

We are just sending him to another sports team's medical staff.

Nobody in Harley Street can do something similar?

So you want to be obtuse about steadman? Why do you think Harley Street is better than the state side medical teams? Or do you just think british is best?

Lots of clubs send their players overseas for operations and treatments.

I think it's a good strategy sending him away. The last thing you want when you have a player out for this long is him moping around in gloomy Liverpool not playing. I reckon him moping around LA or wherever the fuck he is mixing with baseball teams and shit is a better distraction.
