im not to concerned about him leaving  yes we are a better team with him in it  but then we have shown we are as good and can score without him .We have lost many key/top players before and survived im sure the same will happen again

I'll be sad to see him go: he's the single most exhilarating footballer I've ever seen. The flip side of it though is that he's mental and liable to acts of lunacy that see him banned for long periods of time. I won't miss that, but you can't have one without the other. I'm really concerned with Luis' impending departure. I was hoping against hope that he might stay now that we're back in the CL but doesn't seem likely at all now. It doesn't matter how much money we get for him, we'll never replace him unless we enter the realms of fantasy football and sign Messi.

What he brings to the team is irreplaceable and we're going to be a shadow of the team we are without him. And truthfully, Brendan's signings are not filling me with any optimism for the coming season, especially if Suarez is no longer at the club.

No chance.  It'll be around £75m at best - and that'll be a very good price. The only way it'll be a word record is if we get £45m and Sanchez and we say Sanchez was valued at £45m.

 

Barca will also not want to have spent a world record fee.  They'll want to continue with this bullshit idea that they grow talent, not buy it.  The player-tapping twats.
