I'm pleased that he gives a fuck that he's not playing, I'm not over the moon that he runs to the press every time he spends a spell on the sidelines.

 

I can't say I give much of a fuck either way. We see a tiny, distorted, fraction of the conversations via the media, and frankly its much easier to just not bother trying to work out who is in the right/wrong or who is telling the truth.

 

Its just a tedious facet of modern football, getting annoyed with individuals seems pointless.

Why's that then?

The Noggies like the Danes about as much as the English like the Scots. I was working in Norway when Christian Poulsen was in Woy's Team and he was regularly booed in the Sports Bars - but not Daniel Agger, as he's a real Red through & through.

He had a brilliant few months about 6 years ago. Since then he's rarely taken his performance level bast "decent". 

He's a good defender, nothing more. We can do much, much better.

We should sell Agger only if we can secure Lovren or Vertonghen, and we get a good fee out of it. It'd be a shame to see him leave, because he's always showed loyalty to us in the past, and probably wants that loyalty reciprocated.

I and others said at the time he is injury prone and cant be relied on which has been shown to be true, great servant and I loved his commitment but he needs to go.

Masch against physical types like Carroll yes... but Masch would do well at centre back against us, because we have a team of midgets, so it's all relative.
