Think I'd give Agger or Sakho a game as the holding midfielder for this one, with a 4-3-3. Mulumbo will run straight through our midfield at the moment, not saying it's a permanent move but just for this game. Then dependent on Coutinho playing or not I'd have Suarez Sturridge and Coutinho/Moses.

Henderson and Gerrard in the midfield, despite them beating the Manc's they haven't been overly impressive this season I don't think. We should have enough to beat them, would definitely rather bring on Alberto sometime in this one opposed to Sterling.

Really worried about this one.  Simply have to win to avoid losing all the momentum we had.  If we don't win this, it's not a good start anymore, it's mediocre.

First goal will be crucial, hopefully we score early because the longer it goes at 0-0 the more we'll struggle and get edgy.

Hopefully we take the first couple of chances we create and give ourselves some breathing room.  A repeat of the Palace game would be nice, I won't even complain about a shit second half if we're 3-0 up at half time and get the points.  Well not much anyway.

Scoring early, as always in these kind of games, could be crucial. Haven't seen a lot of West Brom so I'm not too sure what to expect. But we do seem to struggle when teams play a pressing game against us. The Southampton game springs to mind, were we just didn't look comfortable from the start. I'd snap your hand off for a scrappy 1-0 win.

A few years ago (maybe September/October 2008) me and my mate spotted Jonas Olsson in front of the Kop, covering one of our European games for (presumably Swedish) telly.  My mate just asked him "Who are you?" (he's polite that way) and when Olsson introduced himself, we got chatting.  He mentioned that it was his first time at Anfield, but he'd be coming back with West Brom in a few weeks.  My mate (still being polite) laughed at him and told him they'd lose 3-0.

Guess what...

You're not playing Football Manager!

Might not be a popular choice but i'd give joe allen a game over moses today. coutinho still not yet fit, allen been fit for a week or two. fancy him at home today with a bit of space created by suarez and sturridge

Second that. We can expect Albion to pack it pretty tight and will need someone to penetrate. Besides, if not today, when?

I know, I was thinking more FIFA. Agger, Gerrard and Coutinho works wonders on FIFA!

Seriously tho, they are a physical team in the midfield and I don't think Lucas, Allen or Henderson can cope with them, like I said it wouldn't be a permanent move just specialist for this game, Sakho played plenty of games as the holding midfielder for PSG. David Luiz played his best games for Chelsea in the dm role and he's similar to Agger I guess.
