Suarez is fucking unbelievable, best footballer in England by a distance. Delighted for Jose, he deserved that, with his right foot and all haha. Thought Henderson had a very positive influence on the game and really got amongst wigans midfield and disrupted any fluency they had. Feels fucking great that.

The only positive of our recent relative fall from grace is that my blood-pressure is far lower as I don't really take much notice of the Mancs anymore.

Thought Sterling was really brilliant too. Quick to turn their pass into an error for first goal, strong on ball and in tackle/challenge, kept head when in box- no panic like we did last season- and tracked back on right all day long, unlike Suso. And he's only going to get better.

First half was poor. Second half we played very well. Sterling was brilliant. Luis was... ...well, Luis. And Enrique seems to have got his mojo back. And the icing was finding out Everton had thrown their lead away (but that had more to do with overhearing a conversation between a couple of cocky Blueshite twats in the shop last night) and Mark Hughes imminent sacking.

Second half was a pleasant surprise after a dull first half. Good to enjoy a comfortable win over Wigan for a change. In fact it was nice just to enjoy a comfortable win over anyone for a change. Suarez was brilliant yet again. Enrique's Liverpool career was maybe written off too early as he's been great the last 2 games. Other results went well for us too.

Special mention to Enrique, played very well and looks like he could be worth a run out in that spot from now on.

 

Really delighted with the result, few more performances like that before the end of the year and we might put ourselves in a good spot for the second half of the season.

Enrique also justified his inclusion with another very good display.

 

Unsure about the Suso swit ch, but if it was tactical fine. It worked. And Susows terri me in his last couple of games. Henderson is shit, but he played alright and is a better option than Suso on current form

Not sure why people are surprised with the performance from Henderson, he has done well all season when used. I thought he changed the game - credit to Rodgers for that sub.

 

Enrique was a beast today, so strong and you can't complain at a goal and an assist.

 

Suarez brilliant as always and I thought Sterling was also really good, but worried he is playing too much football.

 

Good win and we needed that!
