This Bulls team is really strange. I just can't get my head around what they are managing to do without star players and with sickness/illness spreading through the roster. Rooting for them to go all the way.

Deng and noah are gasol/iggy/bosh standard players imo. In a different situation they'd be lauded as stars. Boozer was considered a star at the jazz as well iirc. Plus robinson has been awesome so far. Wonder if bulls fans would even want rose coming back to start right now.

 

Maaybe the heat should put the "defends 1-4" hype to the test and put lebron on nate... should be funny.

Was goosed last night and couldn't stay up to watch game 6 last night. Judging by the highlights, I missed one of the greatest ever NBA games. Will defo be staying up on Thursday night for game 7.

Celtics tarded coach Doc Rivers to the Clippers early this week.Going to be a pissed off Rondo in Boston unless they have big FA signings coming in

 

 

Full rebuilds going on in Boston and LA this year and next.

Lakers clear shit loads of cap space after the upcoming season with both Kobe and Gasol contracts up

Knew it was coming for Boston but it'll be sad seeing Pierce in another team's jersey. I have to confess I don't quite trust Ainge with all of those draft picks either. I don't think he's as clever as he thinks he is.

 

It'll be a grim couple of years for the Celtics. No gamepass, or staying up late a lot, to watch this team.

Sad that this Celtics era has come to an end. Completely tanked the roster over the last week. The next two years are going to be a bit grim but we've acquired 5 first round picks so the next 3 drafts should be interesting.

 

There's no way Humphries is going to stay in Boston (considering his history with Rondo) so hopefully he can be traded for a good PF (maybe Josh Smith?).

 

Rondo is going to be very pissed off but I can't see him being traded as teams will wait until the next trade deadline to see how he has recovered from from his ACL injury.

 

If we can add a good scorer to the starting lineup alongside Rondo, Bradley, Green and Sully then we have the basis of a playoff team but the bench will be filled with young, undrafted prospects.

Rondo will have the team built around him now. Trading him for picks would be like lining up holidays for the day after the apocalypse.

The Lakers could make trades, but only really for players who would fuck up the 2014 plan. Will also be interesting to see if Paul waits to see what Dwight does before making his decision. Dwight leaves LA then Gasol gets to play Centre (where he's much better), we can start looking at the likes of Ellis maybe, with Kobe switching to SF more once he's back fit.

37 year old Brad Stevens of Butler University (NCAA runner up in 2010 and 2011) has been appointed as the new head coach of The Celtics. Most of the Celtics related people I follow on Twitter are extremely happy about this.
