  1. 1. How will England do at the World Cup?

    • They'll win the thing
    • They'll lose in the final
    • They'll lose on the way to the final (on penalties as per usual)
    • They'll go out in the group stage

They'll get out of the group stage. National hysteria will reach unbearable fever pitch. And then they'll lose. Hopefully in a highly amusing way. After which reality will set in, delusion will be swept away, and Capello will be compared to some sort of Italian vegetable.

They'll scrape through the weakest group of the tournament before bottling it against whoever they play in the next round.

Hopefully its humiliating. Either by way of a 94th minute Terry own goal, or an absolutely spanking from one of the teams that can pass the ball.

Quarters or Semi's.

They are so so average, ive absolutely no worries about them beating Spain or Brazil and theres a host of others who could knock them out on their day so thankfully theres not a chance they win this.

Brazil seem to get a bit underrated at the minute, it Spain this, Spain that but I think Dunga has made them a real good team with a nice balance and they'll win it.

Well I don't normally back or support England but honestly Capello has sorted out his shit making them bearable enough for me to follow so I have put myself down for a final appearance and lose but they could win the thing depending on how it all pans out, it's not as hard to win the WC as some think but there are a few teams, Brazil, Spain especially that could take England apart so it's a case of whom is drawn with whom.

It's only 7 games to win it and in these things it's always best to use the managers as points of reference for who will do well rather than squads, there aren't many better than Capello, most England managers going back 30 years are shit.

Whoever thinks they'll win it is deluded. They have a few good individuals like Gerrard, Rooney and Lampard. But when they have players like James, Walcott, Heskey etc you havent got a hope in hell.

Last 16 Im going for.

.

Aye becuase we all know only the best teams/set of individuals ever win competitions.

Truth is they will qualify for the knockout stages. From then on its how much bollocks Capello has instilled in them. They have the best manager at the tournament and imo have enough match winners to win a 7 game tournament.
