Shocking display by all but a few last night most notibly by Gerrard, Kuyt and Insua in the 1st half.Shocking support in the stands for most part aswel, it would seem some of are fans would rather argue amongst themselves than get behind the team.

Gerrard was a joke last night.

 

He thinks working hard is beneath him now, even when playing in a midfield 2. He didn't put 1 tacklle all game from what i can remember.

 

He was the same at Reading in the cup.

 

He put two tackles in by taking the ball off his own players twice.

Considering they are supposed to be world class, Gerrard and Torres by their own standards were woeful. Torres acts like a spoilt kid and has seemed to have taken diving/falling lessons from Drogba. I understand his frustation but he had at least three good opportunities to score (or at least hit the target). Gerrard had the ball plenty of times and was actually one of the worst players on the park.

 

Times like this are embarassing and I (like Faustus has already said) am 'losing my religion'.

 

Some people may blame Rafa, but I don't. Not on this occasion. The team we played were close to our strongest 11 and once they have crossed that line nobody can influence them.
