Liverpool have been linked with a whole host of players since the transfer window swung open earlier this month - and we want to know which one you'd most like to see move to Anfield.

 

From teenage starlets to seasoned internationals, the Reds have been reported to be interested in a multitude of players from every corner of the globe.

 

Here on Liverpoolfc.tv, we've been keeping tabs on all the speculation regarding players rumoured to be targets for Rafa in our Media Watch section of the website.

 

Now, from the list of 17 names we've compiled for our online poll, we want to discover who you'd most like to see in a red jersey.

What they fail to specify here is the player has to be on a free and willing to play without a wage.

Just looked at the forums on there and I'm surprised they allow posts critical of the ownership. I tried to register but it says registration is blocked by the admistrators so I presume they're not allowing any more people to register..?

 

So they are allowing criticism of the owners now? Fuck me things must have changed. The mods were worse than RAWK on there.

The left side has been problem area for us and although Insua could eventually come good, we can definitely do better. I'd probably go for someone like Zhirkov, although Chelsea would probably be reluctant to sell him to us. Attacking wise, i'd ideally love someone like Messi here though i'm not sure we have the funds for him, so maybe someone like Villa who wouldn't be cheap by any means but would be an excellent signing.

Yes, Messi is a great shout. Actually, it's a bit weird that he wasn't included in the poll. I'd also like to see us place a cheeky bid for Kaka. Even though he's not getting any younger I think he'd improve our current side. On top of that I want us to place a serious january bid for Aguero, and the par Xavi+Iniesta (in a package deal). All would represent good signings in my opinion, but it seems like Rafa is thinking in other terms.

I simply can't see the point in flooding the site with tabloid gossip when everyone knows we haven't got a pot to piss in. A mate of mine supports Spurs and I believe they have this media watch nonsense on their site, when he showed it to me a few years back I started laughing.

 

It shows that there is so little good going on at the club at the moment that they feel like they have to con supporters into believing that there is actually hope of getting these players in.

No, that would make us as bad as Chelsea: I'd much rather we signed Cattermole, Parker; and for creativity, Koumas. We could then keep the rest of the money to build the new ground and reduce ticket prices...
