As it stands yeah, would have liked Newcastle to win though, dont see them being up there for longer than december/january. Spurs have more quality throughout so i see them as our biggest rivals for fourth. But with King missing they will conceed quite a lot of goals, especially away from home.

WestHam were pretty close to winning an FA cup against us to be fair under Pardew. So because we were shit for the past two years don't make the man any better does it.

 

Don't forget Jol finished 5th a few times with Spurs and is considered average by some. He is overrated is Rednapp. Spurs have been well run off the pitch and are serious rivals for the 4th spot, but I would be really bricking it, if they had a top class manager.

I don't judge managers or players on trophies won it's a bit silly really cos they're not doing it all on their own. A manager relies on the team he has and a player relies on his team and the manager. Use your eyes and judge how they're doing with the resources they have available.

Thats not really something to write home about. He's a good manager but like most members of the LMA he's given a much higher standing because of his mates in the press.

 

There is never any mention of his court case for tax evation come to think of it. The guy is bent and has won one trophy in 30 years of management. That isnt very good.

I'd say Pardew and Redknapp are fairly evenly matched with only one bad time at a club under their name each, Southampton for Redknapp and Charlton for Pardew that aside they've done well at the clubs they have been at the majority of the time
