Your having a laugh, Arsenal produce quality after quality, these quality youngsters Rafa keeps talking about we havent seen yet, leto, Paletta, Insua and Lucas are all we have seen.

How do Arsenal's kids usually do in the youth cup and reserve league compared to ours? Are they better/worse? IIRC our kids have been pretty outstanding in the youth cup and won the reserve league last year.

Thats a very good question actually. For all their exploits in the Carling Cup, you never really hear of them in the reserve/youth league. It has been ourselves and Man City the last few years.

Our kids pissed the Reserve league last season and were better than anyone else by a country mile.

Its a pity Rafa doesn't trust them and attempt to develop them in games like tonight.

 

As for Arsenal no doubt there will be a media wankfest but the result tonight is impressive. Wenger has consistently found, poached and brought in quality youngsters over the years. He's not afraid to play them either which IMO can only help the players develop. Arsenals problem is IMO Wengers stubborness in spending on older proven players to compliment the younger talent. He seems to have made it his mission to try and compete at the top level spending as little as possible (even if more is available to him).

Arsenal buy quality youngsters and pay a fair few million for them.

Carlos Vela do look like a player for them. Will be interesting to see if he continue his development. Another one of the mexican young guns, that looks to be great in the WC in 2014 and 2018.

both teams through maybe we can draw them this season in this cup and we will get a good game

 

but that is about it as regards the merits of the games everything comes to he who waits
