    Did his best to get them back into it for the first 15 minutes of the second half. Shocking one-sided refereeing. But after Vidic went off and it was 11 vs 11 there wasn't any doubt really. Thought Nando should've had a penalty when Vidic was ripped a third (or fourth?) asshole, but who cares.

    One great result? With the exception of the 1-1 draw at the Emirates we've won every time we've played against a top team this season. We've beaten the mancs once, Chelsea twice and Real Madrid twice. And in all those games we've been the best team and deserved the win. Tomorrow will be the toughest of all those no doubt, but there's more than just tuesday's game to boost confidence. Against "lesser" sides we have struggled a lot, but in the big games we've been great. Can't see any reason why we shouldn't be encouraged by that going into tomorrow's game.

    He's an average player who looked shit in a strong league. Now that he's gone back to an average league he looks better. It's not really rocket surgery. Can't see him coming back here to be 3rd or 4th choice (this season or next) when he can be a regular starter in Germany. Surely if we recall him now (if that's possible) to sit on our bench, he'll be pissed. Does anyone know if we've already agreed a fee with Hertha as part of the loan? Can't have been more than a couple of million?
