Just to follow up on the above, I just watched that video for the first time in years. Shoulder pads, Susanne Sulley, and Oakey delivering the line, 'But this is Phil talking, I wanna tell you, it happens to be true...'.

OMD for me although only just. Dare is an excellent album, especially considering the differences between that and the previous two HL albums (which I prefer). Architecture... is better IMO mainly due to the presence of Souvenir. One of the best early 80's synth tracks alongside Warm Leatherette, New Life, Dreaming Of Me etc

Just can't stomach Andy McCluskey. He was a little irritating, and they were probably my least favourite Liverpool (alright Wirral) band of any repute ever. So has to be Human League for me. What a great album. A ridiculous fringe, two tone deaf mingers, a third nipple and a Sheffield accent. How could they possibly fail?
