  1. It was Rooney, O'Shea & Brown who were singing in Moscow. But it never happened cos for some strange reason the tape has disappeared. One journalist who I can't recall commented about it but no-one else did. Most suprising! As for Fletcher, he was never a player I could hate as he was average, didn't annoy me & good luck to the lad.
  2. Does he receive more money for every stupid question he ask's?
  3. Stan Boardman. Met him at Jersey Airport in 1986 & thought he'd enjoy a gab with a fellow Scouser after telling him we'd seen him in concert a few days before. Miserable cunt basically blanked us.
  4. All I am saying is that I don't think that Pepe Reina is the goalkeeper he was of yesteryear. A couple of years ago fans were begging him to stay & I agreed with that, now I don't. His standards have dropped significantly from being the 2nd best goalie in the world(behind Casillas) to not even being the second best goalie in England. Goodnight.
  5. You didn't answer my question on what Pepe has done THIS season? If you are happy with his performance's OK, I'm not. The levels he had 5 years ago are miles away. If he doesn't sort it out, fuck him off.
  6. I came on here? I've been ON HERE for yonks lad. I don't post a lot, but in my humble opinion Pepe Reina is not the goalie he was & hasn't been for a couple of years. If that gets on your tits, so what! If you can argue that he has saved us a few points in games, saved a penalty recently or even come close to man of the match(as Ray Clemence did on the the odd occasion when I was a lad) then I'll doff my cap. If you can't, fuck off.
  7. Year of the cat - Al Stewart Frampton comes alive - Peter Frampton Spanish train & other stories - Chris De Burgh Level headed - Sweet Lexicon of love - ABC. Love is here - StarSailor.
  8. Was Gary Glitter your father? I come on here to post about football, not engage in childish banter with wankers. Tattybye's.
  9. Pepe WAS a great goalkeeper, but when was the last time you can truly say he won us a game? He never saves a penalty anymore, he's awful at crosses & the amount of times a goal goes past him & he doesn't even dive for it, is growing. Compare him to the goalkeeper's who have come to Anfield this season & played brilliantly to his performance's & its a load of bollocks. PS I couldn't give a fuck about a goal-kick that found our player from 60 yards.
  10. If Rio Ferdinand can walk down Anfield Road to get in our ground & watch a match, why can't Luis go in their ground? Fuck them. Hope he leads a conga in the Directors Box!
  11. Tonight he has come out and said Terry should have never been sacked until he was proven guilty of the offence for which he is on trial. All the journo's are going mad on Twitter. The story that just keep's on giving! I blame Kenny Dalglish & LFC.
  12. So let me get this straight--Gordon Taylor can not comment on one of his members being charged with racist abuse to another member because its a police matter, but can comment on another of his players being allegedly racially abused despite it being another police matter. Am I missing something here?
  13. cos the ref Lee Probert saw both incidents! English football is corrupt. FACT.
  14. The winners of group C will become 2012 European Catholic Cup Winner's.
  15. Am I right in assuming that Armenia will request a replay as the Irish did to France following a scandalous refereeing decision 2 years ago?
  16. Well done to the Evertonian who was on the show. He lost his brother on that day & his description on the events over that weekend were dramatic & very sad to listen to. Heard most of the last two days broadcast & can only say that Talksport/Keys & Gray have handled it very well.
  17. The last few years I've gone backpacking on my own to Northumberland, North Yorkshire, West Scotland, Sussex & Kent. I get a National Express somewhere for a couple of nicker & just look round the area. I take a one man tent & a few bits for a few days. Doesn't cost a lot & see places you wouldn't normally go. Love it but my wife & kids thinks I'm nuts!
  18. Reffed the game at Anfield in 2009. Won 2 0, Torres & Ngog. Red cards for Mascherano & Vidic.
  19. is the ref for Saturday, was hoping for Martin Atkinson tbh!
  20. They've had home games v Wigan, Villa & QPR & away to Blackburn, whilst we have had 3 tough away games. They're getting gates of 32'000 at the start of the season, scary for them. Normal order will be resumed very soon.
  21. Never been the same player since Dirty Harry popped a Magnum 44 cap in him in 71.
  22. They don't make em' like they used to. Shame.
  23. Manchester United's Phil Jones bid in tatters: Blackburn won't be bullied as Liverpool launch £22m swoop | Mail Online Manchester United’s multi-million pound signing of teenage defender Phil Jones from Blackburn Rovers lies in tatters. Blackburn’s Indian owners have reacted furiously to what they perceive as United’s attempt to railroad them into selling the 19-year-old and have told United: ‘We will not be bullied’. And in a stunning 11th-hour development on Saturday, the Mail on Sunday can reveal that Liverpool have told Blackburn they will pay £22million for Jones, a move that will ruin Sir Alex Ferguson’s holiday mood as he takes a break in the south of France. Arsenal have also belatedly submitted a bid that tops United’s £16.5m offer, and with Chelsea showing serious interest in the player, too, an auction appears to be unfolding. It will come as a bitter blow to Ferguson if he misses out on Jones, and it will sting all the harder if the player ends up at United’s fierce rivals at Anfield. Rovers’ owners have been angered by United’s attitude and at a meeting on Saturday in Pune, India, which was attended by manager Steve Kean — straight off a plane to Mumbai — they resolved to prevent the deal going through. United have offered to make Jones the highest-paid teenager in the history of English football with a startling £80,000-a-week contract, but Blackburn are even prepared to top that. Rovers chairwoman Anuradha Desai made it clear to Kean and fellow executives, who made up a ‘war council’ in India, that they must try to persuade the defender to stay. The prospect of being a future club captain is also being dangled before Jones.
