Murray's best chance of winning this tournament is for the semi-final between Djokovic and Wawrinka to be a long drawn-out 5 set epic, because the winner of that match will have had one less rest day before the final. If Murray then dictates the pace in the final, he can draw out the first couple of sets with long rallies and making his opponent chase around the court, and the opponent should start to wilt a little in the third set while Murray still has plenty of gas left in the tank. It's a nice idea in theory but in practice, the top players find a way to compete even when they've played a punishing schedule. He should concentrate on playing his game and not let the other guy dictate, particularly if it happens to be Djokovic.

It's a little bit like talking to someone who suddenly starts wearing a wig, when a forumite changes their name.

I didn't clock who it was at all though so you fooled me KMD...Vint.

It was his rep count that gave him away. And posting on the tennis thread

Ok mum.

We'll say no more about it

Djokovic is like an animal though I remember he beat Murray in a 5 hour plus semi in 2012 then a couple of days later beat Nadal of all people in a 6 hour final. If Murray is going to win he's going to have to play very very well unfortunately with Djokovic I don't think fatigue will come into it.

Like a drug induced animal? Or was it going gluten free? I can never remember.

The beeb yet again fucking up why wasn't this game on TV, the last few times they have played each other it's been 5 sets and yet they'd rather spend the money on rich mans sport Motor racing rather than the working class Tennis....still should have been on mind.

If tennis was really a working class sport, GB would be a lot better at it.
