Where have all the tickets gone, Rick?

Someone else mentioned it - divide and rule. Fans start arguing with themselves and the blame gets shifted.

That's sort of why I posted Parry's comments.

On every other aspect of this shambles, he's been an absolute cunt, but it's almost the first time since Tuesday I've seen someone put forward anything positive about fancard holders.

Since Tuesday it's been constant "might only have been to 6 games" and "£600" which are extremely valid points, don't get me wrong. If I was a season ticket holder I'd probably be fucked off about being in a ballot with some pleb who only went to 6 games all season but no one's mentioned the fact that when season ticket holders have the chance to apply for cup tickets and don't don't, someone else has to, otherwise there'd be 34,000 like there were for Monaco.

I understand where you're coming from, but season ticket holders who didn't go to six games aren't the ones complaining, or at least they shouldn't be. STH who signed up for the auto cup scheme are the ones who are pissed off.

I'm not really that arsed about fancards getting the same chance as me, as if it had been done properly I'd have had a 1 in 3 chance.

Thing is, Parry is not saying any of this to stick up for you and other fancard holders mate, he's muddying the waters and trying to deflect attention away from the real issue.

We shouldn't be fighting amongst ourselves over thsi kind of thing, and anyone having a go at fancard holders is directing their anger in completely the wrong place.

Check out the piece I've just put on the blog now:

Milan announcement:

MILAN - As the result of information taken from the press, A.C. Milan communicates that all the tickets available to the club for the final in Athens (17,000) have not been delivered to the official sales outlets (Milan ticket office, New Milan Point, travel agencies). Therefore, the tickets that eventually were in this moment, available for purchase do not come from the club.

If you require tickets please contact Rick.Parry@liverpoolfc.com and for a nominal fee of €4,000 he will be able to supply the number of tickets required.

Jesus, let's hope Paul Seargent's Greek half brother isn't running things at the stadium in Athens, or there'll be no Milan fans in there!
