I applied online before our journey ended and got an email today, but it was completely blank.

Has anyone else had the same, or has anyone had an email with something actually on it?

Cheers.

if it is a gmail address, click on more options and there is a thing to click on if the message is garbled or blank. i clicked on that and it said "you aint got no tickets dude" which is good because i don't want them now.

It is something to do with the text format it is sent in. Have a look if there is anythign in outlook about text formats. I can't really help. There are a few techheds who may be able to help though, Gaz for one.

So dunno, guess it would of had an attatchement if id got the tickets.

thats what i thought, but having said that it should say something either way you'd think.

i know there's not the same appeal any more but i'd still love to go the a Barca-Milan final.

think if i got them i'd only sell if arsenal get there.

It's coded I think. This is what gmail says about it:

"To change the encoding for this message, choose "Encoding" from the "View" menu in your browser. Then, choose an encoding appropriate for the language in which you believe this message is written"

I'm not sure how you approach it if you have a different client, but this should give you a hint at least.

More:

Here's how to adjust encoding settings in Internet Explorer:

Click 'View' along the top of your browser, and select 'Encoding.'

Choose an encoding from the list of options. (Additional languages are available under 'More.')

Here's how to adjust encoding settings in Firefox:

Click 'View' along the top of your browser, select 'Character Encoding.'

Choose an encoding from the list of options. (Additional languages are available under 'More Encodings.')

Here's how to adjust encoding settings in Safari:

Click 'View' along the top of your browser, select 'Text Encoding.'

Choose an encoding from the list of options.

edit:

I didn't get tickets either BTW.

They have the "you are on the waiting list"-option though. Too bad they didn't add an "I don't want to be on you fucking waiting list, Liverpool are out you blind man"-option aswell.

I noticed that as well. We should e-mail them back with 'erm actually I'm not that arsed now and besides, FIFA are better!'.

If what RiS says works in Gmail, send me a PM with your email addy, I'll send you a GMail invite, you forward the email to your new Gmail address and then do what RiS said (more options) and away you go. If you are still alive by then.

If you are using Outlook (as opposed to Outlook Express) you could try this:

View All Message Headers in Outlook

To display all of a message's headers lines in Outlook:

* Open the message in a new window in Outlook.

* Select View | Options... from the message's menu.

All header lines appear under Internet Headers at the bottom of the dialog that comes up.

If you are using Outlook EXPRESS (not Outlook) this might work:

To display all header lines in Outlook Express:

* Highlight the message in the Outlook Express message list.

* Click on the message with the right mouse button.

* Select Properties from the context menu.

* Switch to the Details tab.

Other ideas include forwarding the message to yourself, but selecting "plain text" rather than rich text or html, but best of all, wait until later today when no doubt UEFA send out a new email that you can read, apologising for the cock-up they made earlier.

Fat Lenny's fault.

this is what shows in the internet headers bit:
