Shit Hollywood leads?

This is less a leading man problem, than a casting problem. 
 

virtually every name mentioned is capable of leading the right film. 
 

Driver is brilliant in The Report. Vaughn is great in Brawl In Cell Block 99 - a world away from his usual comedy stuff.

 

LaBeouf is more of a supporting actor, and can be bloody annoying in a lot of his films, but I remember reading about a kind of art thing he did where’s he spent the day in a lift, just talking to anyone who wanted to come in and chat while it was in use. He was reportedly very charming and engaging.

 

Bloom - yeah, I can’t think of anything in which he’d be the lead.

 

Statham - me and you are falling out Section. Out of order. Bang out of order.

Always hated Clive Owen, just no charisma at all as a leading man.

 

And having had the misfortune to sit through Maestro recently, Bradley Cooper has gone right to the top of my list.

McCarthy was great in Spy, alongside the most random cast ever. Rose Byrne, Statham, Miranda from the TV and Fifty Cent.
