The funny thing is that pretty much everybody predicted what kind of performance we’d get and what the result would be. 
 

I’ll preface this by declaring my undying love for and eternal gratitude to the fella but this situation reeks of a team that is on a downwards slide and the manager doesn’t have the power to stop it. It’s not an indictment of Klopp’s abilities as a manager. But, it just feels like the end of a cycle. For lots of players who have ran their legs off for us. And maybe for a manager who can no longer get anything more out of the players, be that physically or in getting them to buy into how he wants the game to be played. 
 

Maybe it’s fresh players and fresh ideas that are needed.
