I said last season that he should get some games and some sub appearances this year, and was informed by someone else with God-like authority that he was years off that. Well, he isn't. When you get someone at that age with skill and pace, you can get two phases of their development - the first is just feeding off their complete lack of fear and their drive to impress; then the later phase is when they've strengthened and grown more tactically aware. But you don't keep players like that away from the action, as if they're a banana ripening slowly in a bowl. Treat them carefully but start easing them in.  He's too exciting to ignore.

IMO he has everything going for him at Liverpool the kid has immense talent great attitude and is working under the best developer  of talent in Europe,  If anyone can turn him into a world beater its Klopp

Elliott looks a much better player in these bit part roles where he gets minutes and improves his all round game. He's being managed well this season.
