I reckon this will be the most short lived tenure in modern history.

Someone said Johnson was the worst man at the worst time when Covid was upon us, the same can be said for her during an economic and energy crisis. She's a clown, like a cartoon Ghostbusters version of Thatcher.

Blade Runner a bit of class in a thread about a clueless person . Brightened up my day. However when I all over  in usual conservative press revisionism "All these moments will be lost in time like tears in the rain " and they will get voted in again . Depressing . I am away to the Kylie tread for a pick me up.

Pound down again today to $1.12 so far, before the trickle down budget. It's fortunate we don't buy our gas in dollars otherwise we'd really be fucked.

It's amazing stuff.

Basically they're trying to sell bonds to fund the debt but aren't publishing information about the economy and are going against pretty much every accepted piece of wisdom about getting your economy stable.

Reminds me of when Gove came into the Education job and used to spout Daily Mail headlines as policy 'learn arithmetic', 'spare the rod spoil the child'.

This is how Truss and Kwarteng approach economics. 'lower tax - more growth - more growth, more revenue'.

They're cartoon caricatures of right wing thinkers.
