Quite happy with that.

 

Going to be quite a few trying to win games 5-3 by simply outscoring the competition but if we're playing in a league where everyone has absolutely great attacking talent then I want some bruisers at the back. I want van Basten and Henry and whoever to walk away from a game with my team bruised and battered.

 

This team is built to go up 1-0 on a corner and then just keep the ball in midfield and commit niggly fouls and waste time and eventually win 2-0 when the opposition is tired and commits bodies forward and then de Boer lofts it over the top for Bergkamp in a repeat of their famous goal for Holland.

 

My only problem is going to be keeping them from arguing over who is taking set pieces. There are about a half-dozen of them who are all absolutely ace at delivering the ball or hammering it into the top corner.

Think mine is one of my worst in all my drafts. Decent enough but not as great as some others. Think this was a draft you wanted a early pick to grab a great players from some of the thin squads
