The goal is definitely on the cross. Too easy. Lovren will be scapegoated, but he had two men in the middle while VVD was out of position.

 

After the goal, we've had the ball but hardly in the Chelsea final third and the final ball has been poor. Firmino trying to be a bit too clever at times when 2 or 3 touches would be be better than a one touch ambitious flick.

 

Everything still to play for though. Clichéd, but next goal is key.

Would be nice if Karius at least attempted a dive on the goal. Based on the replays, that header was nowhere near the bottom corner as the initial camera angle suggested. Hardly that much pace on it either. Pretty sure a top keeper like De Gea/Courtois goes for it and actually get a hand to it.

Chelsea are happy to let us have it up to the half way line then because our passes are not quick and accurate they are crowding us out. Lost count the number of times Gini has been closed down while he fumbles with the ball at his feet. Manes our best player so far. van Dijk not covering himself in glory either. And Mo should not be diving like that on the edge of their box play the ball.
