Southampton At Home 7.5.17

This will be a tough one, as they are hard to break down. I predict a nervy game with a moment of Coutinho magic to break the deadlock and swing it our way.

We will have to be very good defensively. Their Italian striker looks like he knows what he's doing, and if we go a goal down we don't really look like we have too many goals in us in this latter part of the season to be able to turn it around. We might, but it's best not to find out.

Clean sheet please you red men, and hopefully we take all three points.

Is Coutinho somehow not injured?

I don't know - last weeks game just looked like a dead leg to me that he couldn't run off. I didn't realize there was something more. Hope he's OK as without full strength going forward, we need all the stardust we can get. Sometimes he has quiet games, obviously, but he's the most likely to pull a rabbit out of the hat should it be needed.

Mind you, if Emre Can wants to do that again, he's more than welcome!

Looks like he should be back according to the beeb so you were right, I just assumed he'd be out for several games, but missed most of the Watford game as I was working.
