I quite liked Enrique. I never quite got why , injuries aside , he went suddenly out of favour.

I'll just add it to the growing list of things i don't understand about Rodgers team selections,

Gomez is not a LB so keep Enrique as back up for Moreno and put the young lad in the centre. Give Lovren to West Brom instead,  Rodgeball  don't you just love it

They've now got 29 (at least) players out on loan - five of them in the Premier league. How the fuck can that be acceptable?

I don't think Enrique was that bad. he's stronger than Moreno for one thing. Not a great player obviously but better than playing players out of position.

Club is a right farce at the minute.

I'm slightly non-plussed about the Enrique thing as well.

 

He made 35 appearances in Rodgers' first season. Then the following season we bought Illori, Toure and Sakho and hey presto, he was down to 9 appearances, despite none of them being left backs.

 

He was due to have a kid in early 2013, but I can't recall seeing much on Twitter with him and his kid, so I'm starting to wonder about that.
