The FA weren’t the standard bearers. They repeatedly denied the racism, until there was a proper outside investigation. Then they apologised.

I have no issue with women in football either, but let's be real, women's football is shite, the world champions would get trashed by a pissed up Sunday league side, and although the vast majority of women pundits and commentators are fucking pathetic, so too are the vast majority of male pundits and commentators.

I agree with most of that, except the bit I've put in bold, which, with respect, is a load of steaming shit mate. It's a different game from the man's game but it's not shite at all. Just because you don't like something, that doesn't make it shite.

The standard is low and were there a men's game of similar standard on telly very few people would watch it. I don't really understand the reluctance to admit as much. 

 

Who is the best women's team in the world? Barcelona or Wolfsburg? They'd both get absolutely obliterated by a mid table Isthmian league side. And that's fine, who cares? 

 

Women's cricket suffers from the same thing of having to pretend everything is great. It isn't. I can fucking see the speed gun clocking the bowlers at speeds I regularly face in club cricket. I can see the boundaries having to be brought in 25 yards because women literally couldn't hit the ball far enough to score any fours or sixes on a full size pitch.

 

The same is the case with women's football. Decent techniques, pretty good standard in the middle third of the pitch. Utter shit in either penalty box, and a complete lack of intensity to games.
