Hmm, I'd have liked him to start but then again it's a 5 man defence and Rodgwrs is obviously thinking that Sterling isn't going to get the space in behind.

 

That said, I think Sterling is a quality passer of the ball as well, so I'd have rather he started.

 

This Gerrard yellow card thing is an Achilles heel for us. I hope he doesn't give the referee a chance to get that yellow out, but Sunderland will know full well that getting Gerrrard booked could make us lose focus.
