I don't usually watch this type of programme but she called and said it was in Liverpool so had a look it was about the ambulance service.

The driver and his colleague where debating what a Cherry Picker was, as that was part of the accident they were attending, they called their base and someone actually knew what one was.

Started watching The Americans last night. Watched it when it first came out (on ITV if I recall) but for some reason, even though I enjoyed it, I only watched about 8 episodes and then never picked it back up.

I like it but it's very slow.

Try to get the first episode on catch-up , it is based in town on Paddys night last year and is very funny.

Ill see if I can find it. It was a bit disconcerting though about them not knowing what a Cherry Picker was.

It was funny in a way when some elderly man had an accident and he was in the ambulance, he thought they robbing his coat and money or something, and then quite sad as they attended a 99 year old lady who was worried she wouldn't make her 100th party because she felt ill. Apparently she died it said in the credits some time later, so I'm not sure she made it, I'm sure her 100th was a week after filming and on the credits she died a month or so after, I can't remember so I hope she made it?

Mrs. Stouffer has been watching something called "Littles Fires Everywhere" on Prime. Seems pretty decent to be fair.

That implies that Mr. Stouffer might have also been watching something called 'Little Fires Everywhere' on Prime.

I'm starting to question whether this 'Mrs. Stouffer' character really exists or if she's just a convenient excuse for your hairdresser TV watching fetish.

I don't need an excuse for that ducky.

Trailer Park Boys. Wacky humour which kind of grows on you, some real funny moments and that Bubbles character is hilarious. 7/10 so far.

Really? Mine watched it a few weeks ago and it looked crap to me. Granted I was reading in the same room at the time and I do have an irrational hatred of Reece Witherspoon.

I've watched it all over a few times, but The earlier seasons are the best. Goes downhill after that (although if you love the characters its still watchable)

Ricky season 1-4 (ish) is gold:

Cheers. Finished series 3 last night and will be on 4 later today. The main characters are all pretty good, and the writers scripts with the dry humour are pretty spot on. One of those shows I can dip in and out of whilst waiting for other stuff.

The Salisbury Poisonings

It completely went over my head that someone died from it. I thought it was decent TV and told the story very well. The detective sergeant is one thick twat. Imagine going into a house that they suspect is contaminated with a poison that appears to have taken out a Russian spy, taking your goggles off to wipe your face then going home touching everything and everyone in your house then not going straight to the hospital when you are blatantly ill as fuck all of a sudden. Utter stupidity. 7/10
