I'm not convinced by Rodgers. His comments re. Gerrard this week suggest to me he doesn't have enough courage in his convictions to take the necessary decisions for the club. 

 

No-one could have watched the game versus Stoke and come out of it thinking Gerrard has it in him to play the deep-lying midfielder role. Rodgers not only watched that and thought it, he spouted a load of nonsense to Bascombe highlighting how weak he is.
