I think Allen needs something to go his way, a big goal or to dominate a big side to turn it around, as you say he's always showing for it but I feel he's too afraid of losing the ball and settles for the easy option with Stevie out we're going to need him to be more probing with his passing, I've a funny feeling he's going to surprise a good few in the next few months.

Last time we were top of league at crimbo he boxed a dj amd we had his ABH case hanging over us into the new year.

 

different this time as gerrard isnt absolutely critical to any success we might hope to achieve.

 

Also united had games in hand that season which they went on to win and overtake us.
