Celtics have as much hope as the Lakers of winning it this year.

Celtics are properly tanking this year. We aren't far off either, but the early signs are we aren't as bad as first thought.

I'm not buying League Pass as it's an overpriced rip-off and since the Celtics are taking a season off, I figure may as well too. I'll just watch the bigger nationally televised games and keep up with the Celtics through the usual sources. Vegas set the win line at 27.5 games, just eurgh.

 

I find the whole tanking thing the worst thing about the NBA, that and the 'team with the best guy wins' thing.

I'm thinking of actually getting in to it this year, decided to take a look at the 76'ers. Last 2 times getting in to it though the Cavs traded Lebron and then the Jazz traded Deron Williams. Third time lucky.

The Sixers are going to stash Nerlens Noel for a year so they can tank extra hard. Sounds like an ideal team for Ant.

Pacers will be tough in the east. Bulls renewed with that bitch Rose too.

None of them will have enough. Team with the best player wins, and LeBron is an absolute beast. Even with an aging supporting cast there'll be enough to get it done.

Celtics didn't have the best when they last won. Have the spurs ever really had the best player in the league (duncan for a year maybe)? For me, if grainger can stay fit it'll be interesting to see how the pacers shape up. Even if there's limited scoring room for him he'd be a major trading chip. The chase for 8th in the east is looking good with the pelicans and cavs starting to look a bit more competitive. Don't think NO will make it but the cavs will prob take the celtics spot.

Yeah, we're back. Enjoyed that first half of the Pacers/Magic game. Nicholson impressed and Oladipo hustling. Still love that Pacers line up when their on song, think they need some consistent shooting off the bench to get further this year.

 

Watching a bit of Bulls/Heat before bed now. D Rose is back, his first bucket back was a classic Rose drive.

Anyone know who has the rights to games this year?

Cant seem to find any on TV schedule and im not paying for league pass at the current price.I may go for it around the Allstar break as it should be cheaper

Not too bad a start for us even if we are 1-2.

The Warriors are going to run most teams off the court but sounds like we kept in the game last night.

Still we will be lucky to get anything better than the 7-8 playoff berth

BT Sport has partnered with the NBA to televise live professional basketball in the UK and Ireland, a press release announced today. 

BT Sport 1, BT Sport 2 and ESPN will air up to seven games a week through the second round of the playoffs, and the entirety of the conference and league final series. LeBron James of the Miami Heat, Metta World Peace of the New York Knicks and Spencer Hawes of the Philadelphia 76ers, will feature in primetime, multiplatform coverage, and certain games will stream live on BT Sport's website.

The top-ranked Indiana Pacers will play the LA Clippers in the first game to air on 1 December, at 8.30pm BST on BT Sport 2. The Chicago Bulls, whose star Derrick Rose is out indefinitely with a knee injury, will appear on Christmas day against the Brooklyn Nets, who will also play at the O2 in London on 16 January against the Atlanta Hawks. The midseason All-Star game will also be aired, along with several "magazine shows", such as NBA Inside Stuff and NBA Countdown.
