I haven't seen her mentioned in any other title thread, and I know she did "A Rio" a few years back, but I doubt if you will ever see a better race in Athletics than that yesterday.Up there with Britains 4x400Mens relay win over the USA in the World Championships many years ago ( when Kris Akabusi overtook the World Champion Pettigrew of the USA on the last lap) )

it was a fantastic performance yesterday - she came from so far back in the final 50-60 metres. Very impressive. As I said on another thread, it was her tits that won it for her. If she had the chest of a typical 400m runner, she would have lost. They should get a special award.

She did a lot more than just "A Rio".

And yet this seems to have been wiped from history. There was absolutely no mention of it yesterday from the studio team.

And yet and yet, am I the only one thinking that her facial features seem very much more feminine now?

Seems that all can be forgotten when it suits. They were discussing her a few days ago and saying what a great role model she is and an inspiration as GB captain.

The same person who threatened to quit the country and run for someone else if her ban wasn't removed.

Ah, come on. She just forgot to tell the testers where she was three times. It's not like she had anything to hide. Three times.

That isn't actually true - she did tell the testers where she was training - but on the day the venue was closed and she relocated but they turned up at the venue - and this was considered an automatic fail. Other countries give the athletes an hour to reach the venue, but ours don't.

It also seems fair to point out that Jessica Ennis, Kelly Sotherton and Lisa Dobrisky said at the time that they had all missed tests, it is quite common - Dobrisky twice.

It's extremely common. Cosmic forces conspire to make it so.

And that isnt right, surely, that athletes from different countries are being judged against different standards? How can people be expected to take the sport seriously, as with pro cycling, when there is no strong leadership from the international governing bodies?
