Which Actor's Films Have You Seen The Most Of?

Boredom has led me to try and figure this out using IMDb. My rules, much like Pointless, are to include any feature length film for which the actor has received an acting credit, but discounting voice work in animated films. You must also have watched a good 75% of a film, at least, to count.

I'm probably missing some decent scorers but this is what I've got so far:

Samuel L Jackson - 20 (Nick Fury/Mace Windu skewed)

Robert DeNiro - 17

Tom Cruise - 13

Christian Bale - 12

Ryan Gosling - 12

Johnny Depp - 12

Dustin Hoffman - 11

Matt Damon - 11

Philip Seymour Hoffman - 11

Brad Pitt - 10

George Clooney - 10

Leonardo DiCaprio - 10

Al Pacino - 10

Jack Nicholson - 7(!)

Over to you, GF.

Do you know, I've never even heard of "Ryan Gosling", never mind knew he was an actor who has been in 12 films.

Literally never heard of him.

And I've got a degree in Film.

Does this say more about me or more about "Ryan Gosling"? (I've put it in inverted commas just in case as I don't actually know if he's an imposter.)

Anyway, I would say that the actors I'd seen most would be:

Woody Allen

Robert De Niro

Humphrey Bogart

Alec Guinness

Burt Lancaster

I have seen loads of Tom Hanks films. But one actor I have not seen mentioned yet is Mel Gibson. I have seen:

Mad Max

Mad Max 2

Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome

Lethal Weapon

Lethal Weapon 2

Lethal Weapon 3

Lethal Weapon 4

The Bounty

Bird on a Wire

Forever Young

Maverick

Pocahontas (with kids, honest!)

Braveheart

Ransom

Conspiracy Theory

The Patriot

Chicken Run (with kids, honest!)

What Women Want

We Were Soldiers

Signs

The Passion of the Christ (Director)

Apocalypto

I make that 22 films, and I wouldn't even especially consider myself a Mel Gibson fan. One other thing I noted was that in recent years it seems to have dried up a bit for old Mel.

OK, Tom Hanks is the winner! Here are the Tom Hanks films I've seen (there's so many!)

Bachelor Party

Splash

The Man with One Red Shoe

The Money Pit

Nothing in Common

Dragnet

Big

The Burbs

Turner and Hooch

Bonfire of the Vanities

Joe Versus the Volcano

A League of Their Own

Radio Flyer

Philadelphia

Sleepless in Seattle

Forest Gump

Apollo 13

Toy Story

That thing you Do

You've Got Mail

Saving Private Ryan

The Green Mile

Toy Story 2

Castaway

Road to Perdition

Catch me if you Can

The Terminal

The Polar Express

Cars

The Da Vinci Code

Angels and Demons

Toy Story 3

I make that 32 films. Some of them are for the kids, which I've seen, and some of them were rubbish, and I wish I hadn't wasted my time. But there are some very good films in there too.
