I think we have finally replaced Alonso, him and Lucas in the middle will be class, and he fits into the British squad Kenny put together. This is a great signing.

hope he gets at least 45 minutes today, not going to get too excited about him as I've lost count of the amount of times we've signed players who looked good for lower end teams then come to us and play shit but he does look a good player albeit I don't think he alone can transform us from also rans to top 4 contenders, Brendan certainly seems to think the world of him so lets hope he is right

Well over 20 games. Absolutely nothing stood out about him. The only Swansea player I'd have took would have been Vorm.

Spending £15M for Allen who will be an absolutely vital cog in the Rodgers machine will be infinitely better value than City paying £15M for Rodwell who'll be lucky to be involved in 15-20 games in the season.
