Hodgson was hounded out. Then again, only the TARTs and Purslow thought he should have been appointed in the first place.

the thing that gets me is the claim he was never given a chance, he wouldn't have been hounded out if he wasn't the worst fucking manager in our history and a complete cunt to boot

apparently part of his role will be to groom Stuart 'The Golden Child' Pearce for the big job in the future. the FA really crack me up - like this big centre they're building - that's the answer to the problems in English football - not lack of pitches, lack of coaches, lack of kids playing football, not being able to pass the ball or take it under pressure. yeah a big building and a system of promoting from within will fix that - absolute wallies.

St Georges Park, in the centre of England, not London, does represent a step in the right direction.

Physical facilities which include:•120m x 80m indoor hall, accommodating a full-size 105m x 68m artificial football pitch and 60m indoor running track;

•60m x 40m multisport indoor sports hall with sprung floor with capacity for Futsal, badminton and netball, plus football pitches for the partially-sighted;

•Eleven external pitches, including floodlighting and undersoil heating. The pitches will accommodate full-size and seven-a-side elite football and coaching for all age groups•Goalkeeping areas; will be the best and most comprehensive in the country.

The number of qualified coaches in this country is about a third of all of our major competitors, again this facility will provide a platform for us to put that right.

You are wholly wrong to crtiticise a step which is very much in the right direction, and is playing catch up with the rest.

Just Fucking launch it- Great days.

Is Mike Tourettes Kelly going with him?

That is just unbelievable. It gets more unbelievable every time I see it. The 'get forward' instruction for the fullbacks. Fucking hell.

You're wrong to think that fancy accommodation and nice big pitches is the solution to the countries failings at grass roots. As is, appointing a dandruff suited, owl faced, twat, as the leader of our national team.

Just heard on Beeb that no players have tweeted their approval.

He's gonna be the Graham Taylor to Arry's Terry Venables.

Every time i see that pic of him beaming from the back of that Merc, i just burst out laughing.

Hilarious.

He's somebody else's fucking problem now.

I look forward to the frantic face rubbing as the French take a 3 goal lead.

Or better still, when he makes shrek captain for the first game.

Somebody posted about England getting through to the knock outs and losing top Spain, cant see them out of the group tbh.

Serious question - has any other manager been interviewed or even considered?

When did Capello leave, 2 months ago? and the answer is Hodgson! wow.

If is was 'Arry who was about to be announced as manager, a large amount of the England players would be on twitter jizzing themselves. The fact that not one of them has, is a true and damning indictment of their chosen 'leader'.

The FA (and Bernstein in particular) are utter wankers. Redknapp has his faults but he would have been perfect for the job and at least we could expect to play some decent football and have a go at the opposition. Instead we will be relentlessly boring, defensive, playing on the counter and probably doing OK until we come up against a decent side who will humiliate us.

Hodgson can't handle top players who see straight through his antiquated systems but he's also a coward so won't take on any cliques in the dressing room. So we can expect Terry to come straight back in as his captain once his lawyers have got him off the racist charge.

If that's not bad enough, we have that useless cockney twat Pearce as the back-up.

The FA have put this country back 10 years with these 2 idiotic choices to run the national team, fucking dickheads

Just remember it's nice to watch proceedings with detached amusement instead of the abject horror of last year

Redknapp just has to bide his time he may well be Ingerlund manager by this time next year
