Only a media blackout in terms of ferguson or his players giving interviews but i believe united regularly use well-placed sources in the media to sway opinion and present it almost as fact.I fully expect the Nani-Carragher incident to be blown up to Iraq invasion proportions

They were treated to some serious 'shock and awe' today.

BBC Sport - Football - Ferguson refuses to speak to media after Liverpool game

Seems he and the rest of the club where doing this prior to the game or result

According to talksport Ryan Giggs was asked to give an interview and he said he couldn't.

Also with reference to Ferdinands twitter, that disappeared as soon as it was posted!

Or has it gone back up?

I kind of doubt that!

FA aren't going to charge him/them for the blackout either..they claim that there has to be a complaint from the broadcaster, and Sky won't complain for fer of a BBC style boycott so in effect nothing will happen over this

Why don't the BBC complain not like they've anything to lose.

The FA fined Ferguson months ago for his BBC boycott but haven't announced the size of the fine or enforced it because the BBC still want to settle the matter "amicably" - particularly in light of the BBC's relocation to Salford.

This.

As I said earlier in the thread, the beeb are pussies allowing themselves to be bullied by this prick.

They are happy enough to get the drunken old cunt on SPOTY though aren't they.

As someone else said, just fucking nice to win 3-1 against the Mancs and not even have to hear Ferguson or Mickey no-lips be horrified with Rooney's performance, er sorry I mean Carraghers challenge.

Fuck them off. The Premiership would get by just fine without them. Just fine.

Let them move up north with Celtic and Rangers.

Their self-importance has reached massive proportions in recent years. Our grandkids will look back on their antics and be thoroughly amused that we put up with it, and we'll say ah yes but that was all before the coup that sorted out the FA in 2014.

It's fucking awesome! I always knew he hated losing to us, but this is just making it clear to everyone else too. Just reminds me of sunday and what we did to them, classic.

Bit confused too because Slur's a pretty smart guy usually, and this is just making the last game drag on more for him and his players. Just proves how much we shake them up sometimes. Number 19 might be making him lose his head, he's probably had it in mind for so long that it's freaking him out now that he's so close. Glad that Fabregas is supposed to be fit again so that Arse have a chance of taking this.

If they don't take it this time we might be truly up there with them next season, something that lot will fear quite a bit.

I wish the Sky money would be withheld from Manchester United because they are not fufilling their contractual obligations.

I'd like to see Slur and his media blackout shite take on UEFA next week. They'll through the book at him, if there's one thing that UEFA don't like is any cunt upsetting their sponsors. The PL and FA need to grow a pair and stop sucking the shit out of his arse at any given opportunity.

Give them point reduction instead of stupid fines, and he will sing like a choir boy.
