Cat Pics

Was up a ladder on to the roof early this morning to scrape, sand and paint all the fascia boards and trim. Not a fun job. Parts of our roof are a good 20' down to the concrete below. I've developed a fear of death by falling the last few years as well.

Both our mexican cats (Furnando and Isabel) watched me go up and were very keen to join me. Most mexican cats, in my experience, are great climbers as they tend to move along the roof tops, leaving the dirty streets below to the dogs. Cats there are much leaner, longer and graceful.

I'm a few minutes into the job, sweating buckets nervously hanging over the edge of the roof, when I feel something rub up against my leg. Both cats had climbed up a 8' lattice screen and jumped onto the roof to join me. The picture is old - those maple trees totally cover the entire side garden now. Just incredible.

Tell Donald Trump he's going to need a bigger wall to keep the Mexicans out.

Beautiful cats.

Pete - try using Imgur for photosharing. Photobucket sucks balls.

Thanks. I have a plan with Photobucket but it doesn't seem to work so I'll look into Imgur.

Awesome, does look like Bella too. They're proper wee heart stealers.

Aye. Jasper was a little dude.

Went far too soon due to his heart condition.

That's a face that leaves you in no doubt who the boss of the house is.

Too right he was. Got dead concerned when his brother & sister used to scrap.  Bossed everyone about in a loving way, always came to greet you when we came home.

The night he passed he met us at the front door and then pretty much died in my arms. Like he was waiting to say  goodbye to us.  Broke everyone's heart that night. I remember it like yesterday.
