I thought the original Star Wars trilogy was good. Then I saw Armageddon and realised just how good a real film could be. The twists and turns, will they won't they. It was as if the switch of life has suddenly been flicked on inside my head. Everything fell in to place. Affleck made this possible. I am forever indebted to The Bomb.

What? Affleck and Damon are like Hansen and Carragher in the same team. Except that Ben and Matt don't have really crap faces.

 

And carrying Affleck? Other than Good Will Hunting, they've only appeared on screen together in Kevin Smith films. Damon didn't carry him in Pearl Harbor, or Armageddon, or Phantoms and Affleck was the bomb in all of those films.

Watched Phantoms last night. Peter O'Toole totally wipes Affleck off the screen
