Gerrard, we know is out. Barragan for Finnan? Momo and Hamman in the middle?

 

I think if we're not playing Gerrard (which we're obviously not, duh) then we have to play Alonso. Certainly a midfield of Riise (or Zenden) Hamann, Sissoko, Potter is a bit lacking in creativity. Cisse and Garcia up front maybe?

Can't see Rafa taking too many risks. It's a huge fucking game regardless of our advantage from the first leg. I'd say Rashid's team is close enough, but don't think Carson will play...

 

Love quoting myself... but am I the only one who thought this would be tricky with a weakened team? Too important a match to be fucking around, Rafa...

Fucking Josemi! Don't anyone ever try and tell me again that "He's not that bad", "He looked OK when he first started" or "I think he could come good". He is fucking appalling and Rafa wants his fucking head looking after sticking him in the centre of defence. He was at fault for the goal by not closing his space (and therefore man) down and his positioning, tracking back and lunging tackles are appalling. Get him off the pitch now and send in Carra (and Xabi). Please.
