This is last years accounts

I don't imagine next years will look pretty with no champions league

We didn't win anything last year, and even the year before I'm sure win bonuses for FA Cup and Carabao Cup are not astronomical.

Champions league money will be a massive loss still.

I could see us moving a couple of players on to help fund the new managers plans.

Weren't our wages meant to come down massively

These accounts will include the wages of Henderson, Firmino, Fabinho, Keita, Ox etc. Their replacements will be on a lot less. We’re still carrying Thiago’s costs unfortunately.

The best thing about the accounts and the owners is they were published yesterday and nobody is talking about it. That's the way it should be, the club is and has been run excellently, even the morons haven't the stomach to argue this time around.

Give it time.

People's annoyance with accounts is directly linked to how well or how badly we're doing on the pitch, or what's happening day to day in the transfer window.

No transfer window, top of the league and still in all competitions in March means dissent is on the back-burner for now.

But our wages are, apparently, heavily incentivised towards winning trophies so you would expect to see a significant reduction on that basis.

His 10m a year would wipe out last years losses.

Let's hope we don't drop any points any time soon.

Yeah, that's the thing that stood out to me. And wages wise the ins and outs from the season before look about flat. It would seem our wages are not quite as incentivised as we are led to believe. I suppose Salah kicking up his wages cost a few quid.

Are the wages including amostisation so uefa "compliant" so to speak?

Yeah, but they don't exactly position us brilliantly in relation to next year's accounts... The stalled launch of the Annie road development will probably have a significant impact. Especially with the CL money impact too.

The minority sale will cover the lack of CL and the summers incomings won’t it?
