Gakpo's just quality isn't he? The pressing, the vision, the positioning. Just makes things easier when he's on the field. Things not quite fallen for him and he's still obviously class.

Doak!

Got to be honest i didn't see why we bought him in his 1st few games looked to slow to play wide and not enough of a threat to play up top, Then he settled and he is right up their with prime Bobby Firmino a great signing good job i work in manufacturing and not in Liverpools scouting department.

Pre-Season is a weird time, if we went into a premier league game with some of the line ups you see people would be predicting heavy defeats but in pre-season people get annoyed if everything isn't immediately clicking and we're not winning 5-0.

Szoboszlais set piece delivery is scary (for them).

Can't recall too many powerful corners like that from Trent or Robbo and their floaty efforts.

No they don't. Where do you get this generalisation from?

Put your brush away.

The consensus so far on the forum has been that we are great going forward but porous at the back which is a fair analysis.

Gakpo is so economical and smooth with his movement and touch. Diaz tried an indulgent flick and gave it away, then Gakpo got on the ball, beat a player and did exactly the right thing. His decision making is excellent too.

People talking about Jurgen's 2nd great Liverpool side; well the defence is still a work in progress but our attacking options are better than they've ever been imo.

Both the depth, the breathtaking pace and the sheer outstanding quality, this attack is better than its ever been I think.

Can't wait to let them loose and tear into opposing Premiership sides.
