They did this down parts of Walton Vale a few years ago. Looks awful and floods when it rans as there's no step between the gutter and where people walk

Don't loose or broken flags just get filled in with Tarmac these days anyhow? They're just ahead of the curve.

Is that right down by the liver building or further up? Bad enough regardless, but would be outright vandalism to pour that around the major landmarks in the city.
