It's a foul for me. Fouls like that get given against forwards virtually every time. Certainly Mo constantly gets penalized for far less.

Doesn't make much difference as we hadn't look remotely like scoring after that quickfire start to the second half. Nothing has changed since the first half of the season and it won't unless they bring in several new signings. We've been an embarrassment today. Completely bullied by Brentford. This was the sort of thing that used to happen to various Liverpool sides pre-Klopp and isn't something we've seen much of since Klopp's first season. It might all have been different if Nunez hadn't missed yet another complete sitter early on. I guess we'll never know.

Nunez has missed chances but he’s put himself about. Wtf has Salah done tonight ?

Been shite all season. Great managers break up teams even when players are in their prime because they get stale. Ferguson did it several times, as did Paisley.

That goal was on Trent, playing Naby into trouble, with a poor pass.

Once again, Trent living on the halfway line.

Poor by Trent, poor by Keita, bad decision making and weak by Konate, and a mistake by the ref. Konate was pushed, and pretty sure the Brentford player caught his heel as well.

If we aren't gonna get the tools needed to play the way that we try to properly then we need to find a different way of playing.

You can't approach games way we do when have no pace or legs or amyone who can cover gaps/sense danger in your midfield.

Here are some damning stats:

Liverpool are conceding 10.0 shots per game; it was 7.8 last season. They rank in the bottom third of the league for expected goals against; they were second best last year.

My main gripe with the 3rd goal is that only big lumps can get away with it. He isn't challenging for the ball and its ultimately a push (in my opinion anyway). He gets away with it due to the perception of just using strength. Fairly certain a lot of the time that gets given as free kick if smaller striker does the same and defender goes tumbling.

Regardless,we are bang average this season.

Tells you all you need to know that. No team can live with stats like that.
